Why Choose Mediation
Mediation is the quickest and most cost-effective way to reach an agreement in a family law matter.
A skilled and experienced Mediator will be able to help you and your ex-partner address issues causing conflict and come up with an agreement that suits both of you and any children involved. A key aim of mediation is to resolve issues and avoid a protracted and costly case in court.
I have a hands-on and considered approach based on over 31 years of experience in the family law arena. This strategy ensures as many barriers are avoided or removed as possible, allowing the parties every opportunity to resolve their matter.

How I Can Help
I have a particular interest and passion for Alternate Dispute Resolution and in particular Mediation. Having practised for many years in family law, I am convinced of its benefits compared to the cost, stress, delay and uncertainty of litigation.
The court system is currently experiencing extreme delays. Financial or parenting applications filed today in the Brisbane Registry are unlikely to receive an outcome for years. It is difficult to have your matter heard by a judge on an urgent interim basis, except for the most urgent parenting or financial matters.
My priority is also to help you to come to an agreement outside of the court system, being an outcome that you have control over, so you do not have to hand over control of your future, and your children’s futures, to a judge.
